Hon Kong
As an Asian, at young age, I was immersed in a land of Mangas and Animes. In contrast to the comics and cartoons of the North America, these graphic novels add a scent of realness to it. Not only they express the same dream and fantasy like their North American counterparts, they told story of real historical legends. This aspect makes Mangas and Animes more appealing to me. This realness was what made me want to make art with strokes of my hand.
Through 20 years of my career. I was an assistant in a Manga Studio. I opened a graphic design company. I have design ads and websites. However, they weren't the life like art I was looking for, so I came to Canada. Since, I have re-pursued Art in portrait, where I focus on accurate representation of the subject, but still leave room for my creative touch.
